Sorry I had to cut it short and leave so soon, yesterday, but it was my daughters B-Day. After the New Year though it is back on the first weekend after New Years. Marcello thanks for teaching me that escape from being mounted, I got to use it last night training with my cuz, it worked great, so thanks.

Too bad... I was going to be in Atlanta over the holidays. I would have liked to have actually made it to a throwdown.

Well if you are willing on saturday I am sure we can work somthing out, just let me know and I will call up some folks.

We should all put like 5 bucks in a little pot, and have round robin MMA sparring, and whoever wins gets the money, that would be a great motivator for people to train harder for the TD's. Just a thought.

If there is going to be alot of people, then maybe we can find a venue to go to, like the Gwinnett wrestling complex. I will figure somthing out, where there is a will there is a way.

Another thing to keep in mind is that, you only hit someone in sparring if that's what your willing to take back, otherwise don't even bother showing up.

Even if you stay on your feet for most of the match all it takes is one **** up and it's easy to "**** up" when someone can shoot right through your 50% power strikes without worrying to much about getting jacked up. I'm not really concerned about it, I'm just saying.

We've been to almost 10 differant throwdowns, including two Megas, this is on top of my three BJJ gold's and almost 10 kickboxing and MMA fights with two more in the pipes including yet another title match, so we don't feel paticularly obligated to attend every single throwdown.

Kat is a more than decent grappler and a really good striker!


But yea, I would rather train at the Tech campus.
There would need to be rules of course, also you were talking about a round robin format. How would that work out with the weight classes?

Seriously, I think it's funny to give us **** for not making it to a couple throwdowns that happen pretty much weekly when we've been to more throwdowns than anyone else on the site, and have even traveled as far as 12 hours to make one.

And stop being an ass with the "you girls can do your own thing because Im VERY insecure" crap.
