Greetings,
anybody got any toughts on/experiences with Russian knives from the Noks company, especially the Smersh series (although they are producing an interesting palette of other blades too...)?

Come on now, there's really no one out there who'd care for some good Russian blades?
;-(

Is that a bloody sah bau/wall bag picture? Usually they're red- I guess I know why.

Yep, that's my DNA evidence alright... I washed it since though...

Im not very familiar with NOKS knives, but from what I've seen they looked good, but pricy.

Do they have a website?

They do:
http://noksknife.ru/page4.html
however, there seems to be no English version. The link goes straight to the knife catalogue, just click on the links at the left side of the page to see all of the models.
They're not the cheapest, but pretty good quality and durability IMO.
Some of their models (are made after knifes that) are used by that fuckhead Putin's bodyguards http://noksknife.ru/index.php?id_page=4&id_kat=12&id_tov=15 or were used by ther Stalinist secret police (NKVD) to kill spies and/or "spies" http://noksknife.ru/index.php?id_page=4&id_kat=32. The latter were designed based on traditional Finnish fisher's knifes. Used for thrusting between the neck vertebrae, supposedly...
Besides, you cannot get a good knife really cheap. Ever. It's always better to save money you'd spend on shitty "blades" and buy a real blade later on...
