The Highlite clip sucks for representing me
Yes, we know. Because EVERY FUCKING VIDEO sucks for representing TEH REEL WANG CHUNG!!! Fucking shitclit, fucking go the **** away already. Has Doc X been in here and recommended suicide yet? I can't remember. If not, kill yourself. If he has, kill yourself again.
I just find it kind of funny that a WC guy is arguing with JUDO and BJJ guys about leverage and body mechanics. 'Cause, you know, judoka never use leverage. Neither do BJJ guys.

There are far too many variables involed to reliably model two human bodies in a fight, especially "in your mind", the permutations are enormous... not to mention somewhat random.
Do you study mathematics at all, or do you just pull your jargon from google?
Do you? I studied it quit a bit, but I more use it as a theoretical language online.
I fail to see why the infinite possibilitys in the real word would prevent someone from approximating things on paper. Is that why Donald Rumsfeld didn't bother to have a post Iraqi occupation plan? "there are just to many varibles in war to try". Pathetic, LuTze, go back to the Bronze age....
We only look a the geometry and structures invovled in the methods, which are not infinite.
OK, someone else tag in. I can't take this **** any more.
This guy is SO dumb and SO bad at fighting and SO pompus, but he will not stop talking and giving out advice on this website. I really don't know what to do. I've done my shift countering his bullshit and it's not my turn anymore.
Don't be so hard on Tonazuba, he's new........wait, you talking about me? Hey I tried to stop, but you guys just keep putting out mis-information about WT. and i do not think I am pompus.

Most pompus people don't think they are pompus. I'm sure Hitler didn't think he was an asshole. Hardly changes anything.

Do you realize that even Strikers have to grapple out of grapples?
According to the **** definition you provided, about six months ago, to support some inane anti-grapple bullshit?
Yes.
What us in the real world call grappling vs anti-grapple? No.

Whatever, I am not gonna get into what (anti) Grappling is again. Gloves get in the way.

When you do a hip throw, the person first goes up and then over. I tie up and get underhooks, step in between their legs with mine while turning my hips so my butt is in their crotch(I know, so gay). When I do this my hips are lower and under his because I bend at the knees. When I want to throw I just lift up and toss with my arms, he flies over my hips and onto the mat. Thats how a hip throw goes up first.
Interesting site, good work to all involved.

As far as wrestling goes too, we never ever ever kept all of our weight on one foot, moving 100% from leg to leg. To counter a takedown you sprawled or sunk your weight. You kept weight on both feet, to different degrees but they changed rapidly and without thought in the match. The only time I can remember having a weight distribution like you talked about was when the other guy snatched my leg up.

Wing Chun is not an absolute joke.
It's more like a relative joke. For example, it's funny next to Judo, but really quite serious next to...say...Airplane.

Come on? Gloves get in the way? Enough of that ****. If 4oz open fingered gloves get in the way of your techniques, then the slightest push in the wrong direction during live fighting would ruin them, too.

A lot of the "Anti-Grappling" techs I've seen have revolved heavily upon sidestepping or kicking your opponent. Guess gloves also cripple your legs.

I'm hoping he meant boxing gloves and not MMA gloves. It seems to make sense that boxing gloves might get in the way. But I don't strike so wtf do I know.

Even boxing gloves don't seem to prevent boxers from throwing fast, dense combos and blocking defensively.

Other fallacious beefs with boxing gloves:
spacing between hands -- ok. If the two gloves are touching, they function the same way as your hands being close woud. Just practice with them on.
'inch movements' -- boxers have very precise hands. if a movement needs to have control down to the inch scale, a boxer could do the move no problem.
