I have been lurking for about a month now and been really pissed off with you griefing my style, TaeKwon-Do. But then I went on http://www.deserttkd.com/ as advised on another thread, watched the video on that page , and now I see why. That was fucking appalling. I'm guessing that's a school in the USA, and if most of your schools are like that, I'm gonna stop thinking that you are all just twats bashing TKD because it is the most practiced MA in the world, and join you. I assure you TKD isn't meant to be like that, and it isn't at my school in the UK (though there could be some like that over here). I'm guessing those were 4th dans on there grading and they look like our 8th kups (6 months into training), no, they're not that good. I am fucking disgusted. Is that the ATA or something? Now I will agree with you when say that TKDers are pussies. I never realised that things were that bad. People/organisations like that are bad for all MAs and when I'm grown up (I'm 6 foot already so it's not that I'm small, it's just I'm only 16 no passport or anything [actually I am small, I'm a 140 pound fucking runt]) I'm going to come over and murder whoever there chief guy is. Yeah TKD sucks. But I'm worried that this **** could happen to any MA. Well I'm going to try and rid the world of Bullshido and McDojoism, but I don't where to start.
If you have read all of the post, well done, how do you shut a school down? Do we just torch it?
I'm nealy being sick at how **** TKD is, but I will continue it because I am devoted to it and we are a very good school, we are encouraged by our instructor to kickbox, and our students enter a lot of local kickboxing open tourneys, and do very well, we spar FC in the club providing both sparers say so (we have some women and they don't like to spar FC with blokes and lads but that's fair enough right?). I think our rates are good, I pay £30 a month and can train as many days as I want (I train 4 nights a week) so that's 8 lessons for £15 right?
Well anyway, I'm gonna help you destroy Bullshido, and I guess schools like this are a place to start. This is my first post, maybe I should've stayed in Newbie Town (well I've never looked in there actually) but I'm brave enough to come out here and face you lot. I'm bracing myself cause I know you're probably going to destroy me. :confused: Stu Garrett over and out.
