I would like to find some quality MMA and BJJ instructors in the Kennesaw, GA area. I could travel to Marietta or up into Acworth, but I don't have the time to drive to Atlanta for classes.
I found a school that opened recently, here is a link to their site: http://www.tufma.com
Anyone have experience with Pedro Ramirez or Michael Kanner? Anything about their information look suspect?
All help is appreciated, thanks.

Come over to Knuckle Up: http://www.velocitykickboxing.com
It's right off the Barrett Parkway exit of I-575, and I'll refer you for weeklong trial period.

OMG Kennesaw is bullshido!
kidspatula,
What? Are you saying the knuckle up place is Bullshido?
Or do you mean the entire town of Kennesaw is Bullshido? Is this the Bullshido Mecca or something, where Ashida and Coda make their yearly pilgrimage?

you tell me, you're the one that posted this in the martial arts BS section.
I didn't see a more appropriate forum in which to put this post. Should this question be directed somewhere else?

Michael and Pedro are no joke. They are both pretty talented martial artists. I knew Michael for a long time when we trained and taught together way back. He is really good and a naturally gifted martial artist. His form is almost flawless when he executes a technique. He really knows what he's doing. I think they both used to train at some point with Omar Lira, who's just a great BJJ guy in the area. Any way you see it, you can't go wrong with those guys. They're really nice, won't give you that cockiness attitude, and can teach you alot of good stuff.
Man, Joe Merit is right around that way, a bit further east. Ok, a lot further east. Check him out though. www.boxingandmartialarts.com (http://www.boxingandmartialarts.com)
Thanks for the heads-up. Decatur is too far of a drive though.

You are correct, though the law isn't enforced, and is unconsitutional. Still, I imagine anyone planning a home invasion or burglarly will likely go to a neighboring town just in case. :qleft2:

I like the law but I can understand why not every home should have to have one in it.
