As far as the Cops stuff, do not get to excited it is a 100 to 1 shot that it had anything to do with Coda. You guys will know as soon as we do.

Could someone verify for mje and those that are interested, did Coda G. Scott managed to finish High School? If so, someone go back and slap his teachers for passing this guy.
This man's usage and spelling of English is that of someone whose first language was not English!
Also, what of the father and son team that was teaching for him?
And, would someone please explain full-contact karate, without sparring gear? (As per the group's new website.) Again, I am willing to bet that this guy does not have any type of liabilty insurance coverage.
Why am I hung up on this idea of insurance? Mainly because I had to show proof of coverage before I was allowed to teach anywhere!
I also had to complete both a state and national background check that was done by the state police. I am willing again to wager that Coda or any member of his "Staff" have completed any check. Why am I hung up on this? Because one of the guys I was teaching with, who was A County Pokicemen, was brought up on charges of having sex with a kid that was at a school he was assigned. So far as I know, none of the charges had anything to do with the kids in the karate class. This guy had not completed a check, and refused to do so, just because he was a cop. Now, there might not have been anything in his past, but there should have been some red flags about this.

upon reading his "rules". He states no one can test for black belt under the age of 16. Odd that he can achieve his at such a young age. How old was he when he did and why would he state such a rule. Afraid someone might knock him around.?

He's alluding to Kyokushin Karate. Didnt' Coda claim to teach Kyokushin or hold Kyokushin Rank? And where does he get his Akido expereince?
