A statue of Kung Fu hero Bruce Lee is unveiled in Hong Kong. Lee's family plans to produce a new film on the late martial arts star - the first such movie it has actively supervised.

Interesting. A new film based on a book by one of Lee's brothers that is scheduled to come out on the 25th of November, the anniversary of Bruce's death. It appears that it is Bruce's family that will be working on the film, not much involvement from Linda Lee or his daughter.

Hmmm... Good or Bad? It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

I'm hoping that it is going to be a biography type deal but I'd sure there will be some fancy stuff thrown in there too.


The book will debut Nov. 25, Bruce Lee's birthday, and Beijing Jian Yongjia will produce a series of films, TV shows and documentaries based on it, including a movie titled "Bruce Lee," it said.

I'm curious if it's all going to be for a Chinese audience, sub titled in the states...

I wonder if the Chinese realize the fact that they are celebrating one of their own that left their oppressive homeland to make a name for themselves, gain wealth and fame through a capitalist system.

Yeah, the statue is pretty bad ass!

It could be even more awesomer if it was a talking statue. So when you go near it, it says annoying Bruce Lee movie quotes like 'Don't think, FEEL'.

Don't be so negative.

The CGI will be cheap. Cheaper than real actors. Cheaper than real sets. Cheaper than a real script. Cheap.
