Hey guys I sprained my wrist 8 weeks ago hitting focus pads :(
Anyways I just come to the conclusion that the sprain has gone but there is an airline fracture :(
How much longer will this take to heal?
I haven't been able to lift weights or do ma. To add insult to injury I have an army medical in 6 weeks :(
Help me!

Your name is very similar to a troll we had around here for a while, so people may ignore you initally :)
I'd go to a professional and get his opinion and an Xray and/or MRI if thats what he recommends.
Joint/ligament/tendon injuries can range greatly in nastiness (thats the official medical term...)
They can hang around for months. It may be a hairline fracture but it may just be taking a long time to heal.

tough I'm not changing my username. It is definitly a hairline fracture. It is realy starting to depress me now =(:-( >
How long do you think it will take to heal?
It doesn't hurt when I move it, only when I put pressure on it and then it doesn't hurt too much.
I'm worried cause if I miss or fail the medical I won't get in the forces by September which will mean me loathing around until January :(

I don't think anyone here has enough medical experience to give you a healing time, so keep that in mind.
But since you asked...
If it is a hairline fracture, 6 weeks is cutting it fine to be fully recovered and back at full strength.
At least you can keep up cardio fitness in the meantime.
I say get it checked out dude. Seriously.

Army medical? You in the SAS Solid?
I agree with Finger.. cardio.. Not much you can do just let it heal.

Stop lifting, dude! You're just reinjuring the damn thing. Leave it completely alone for a few weeks to let it re-set and heal. Maybe some light massage around the area to stimulate blood flow, but nothing harder (save that technique for the bathroom! :P).
And don't be a stubborn, macho freak when you get back into the gym...start small. Bones don't strengthen under duress the way muscle does.

Crimson's right, putting pressure into it will make things worse. Dude, just relax and apply that "chi" thing they teach you!
