Judo as a kid for a couple of months then Aikido for 8 years from age 14 to 22. Then I moved to London and basically gave up training for 13 years, although I did a little more Aikido, Goju Ryu and JJJ along the way.
Then about 18 months ago I decided it was time to get back into MA so I started doing Shorinji Kempo.
you know that this info is all on your/our profiles, right?
At least it should be...

Started with Kuk Sool Wan (total mcdojo, I was like 8 and they put me in the adult class. How stupid is this.) and dropped outta that, for the reason it sucked. I realized this when I got punched in the eye, and post ass kicking I received, I realized that Kuk sool won didn't do much for me.
So I took a break from martial arts and I started back up again with BJJ and kickboxing, been totally fun for this entire two years. I also love to read as many books as possible, with as much focus as possible in Xing yi/Baguazhang, and I've been obsessed with Wing Chun ever since I quit KSW, but unfortunately there is no Wing chun school.

Pft. Aside from some Judo moves my dad showed me when I was a kid, I've had about a year of WTF TKD competition. Your year and six months at fifteen is easily more impressive than what I've been doing.
I did a year of Shotokan when I was a kid. I like the art, but hated my instructor. That sparked an interest in MAs, but there was nothing in my area I wanted to take.
In high school, I let a friend talk me into doing TKD with him. He quite after a month or so, but I kept going for another six months. I bought a heavy bag in college and worked on my kicks and a few boxing exercises a friend taught me fairly religiously.
At the ripe old age of 30 I started taking Lam family Hung Gar (oddly enough, also with a friend you quit almost immediately). I've been training for four years now and still love it. I'd also like to train in a ground style, but I don't have the time or money right now.
Keep this in mind; I'm a dick.
My Father Had Me Walking By 8 Months.
By The Time I was 2 I could Do Front , Side & Back Kicks.
I did not get to quit Till I was 6 & Even Then
I still had The on & off Lesson.
My Dad made it more Like Work Than Fun.
It was how High How Hard & How Fast..
But I think This Is Y as an Adult I sought My
Own Path & continue To Practise Martial Arts....

My Father Had Me Walking By 8 Months.
Babies are still crawling by that point, they don't even get to the point where they can fully pull themselves up until approximately 9 months as their legs are far too weak. Anyone who's taken a simple class in human evolution could tell you that. They learn to stand, then for about the 10th and 11th month can "cruise" around by holding onto a small table, say, and walking sideways. The earliest age most children even take their first step is at 12 months, some possibly at 11 but most within Month 14-16.
Therefore, I claim Bullshido :)
Here's a reference too, not the most scientific but it works and explains my point pretty well:
