CAC (Central Air Conditioning) is for pussies! The summer is here and its time for everybody to shoot up electricity use for their cold air. Why do people complain about the cold in the winter and then turn up the air conditioners until the room is freezing in the summer? Why not just keep the house at a cool 75?

I live on Long Island. If the temp is 75 people set their AC to 65. If its 80 they go 60. If it 95 they make it 50 in their house! Yea Im ranting.

The heat is good for you! Its summer!

Because if you set it to 50, it still won't be 50. The outside air will interfere and make it warmer.

I actually think that air conditioning can be very unhealthy as sweating is an important way for your body to get rid of toxins.

If its 70 degrees out and not to humid...NO NEED TO MAKE IT FREEZING INSIDE!!!

On Long Island its not that hot unless it hits 90 which is rare. Its around 70 now and feels great. When I go to a resteraunt though or movie its freezing. The second summer hits they pump up the AC so high. It makes no sense.
