At my bjj class on the weekend I thought i'd check out my weight etc on their tanita scale. It came back with 98.6 kg and 17.5% bodyfat...

Later on I talked to Elvis about my weight and asked what I should be aiming for in the next few months and he said 91kg's would be a good place to start and that after that perhaps get down to as low as 84.

So i'm going to set myself a goal of dropping 7kg's - 15.43 lbs for you imperial bastards here :icon_geek in 12 weeks.

I'm 183 cm/6 feet and i'm doing stationary bike a few times first thing in the morning, 3 bjj classes, 2 wc classes, gym 2 or 3 times a week - mainly weights but a bit of cardio too. I've also cut down on a lot of crap and having a fair bit of myoplex as well as other stuff to keep my protein levels high.

Any thoughts??

Sounds easily doable.

Thought 1 - Don't know how quick you recover but adding heavy weight training to that schedual could be flirting with over training.

Thought 2 - Your quote - It's marine corps not marine core.

indeed, it was probably time to change that quote anyway...

Hmm, I usually only get two weights sessions a week, sometimes 3 but I would do a split for upper bod one day, rest, lower bod, rest, upper bod, then two days without weights and back on again.

So far it seems to be going ok, but I think if I can do more cardio in the morn it would help burn the fat off quicker.

7 kgs in 12 weeks should be no problem. It's reeally not that much weight. I could get ya there in a fortnight. .. You already have the myoplex so Instead of adding more exercise, why don't u just trade some of your grains for more fruit and veg??? ;)
