So here's the scoop... I think it pissed off JP not to be the number one Honcho. " I DON'T REPORT TO ANYBODY... I'm GOD AROUND HERE". People were more interested in James Demile that in JP. That's one of the reason's he decided to go on his own.

Also, I think JP did train his butt off at one point. Not so sure about that anymore.

According to DeMile's website, JP was punted from the organization.

I have a pic of me with a Tom Cruise. Proves I got an autograph signed and met him once, doesnt mean that I am a scientologist who has taken the $5,000 cleansing ritual.

while I do not think that JP is a model of humility, I would like to know how you came to that conclusion (which by the way makes sense to me). In other word I would like you to bring some facts to backup this affirmation.

As for his personal training: two anecdotes: 1. when I went to the training camp people were getting injuried and some of the students were starting to want out. JP was pissed about that and he started to moralize us on how he, in his old times, did training camps all week long for months....
2. I asked once to my sifu how he had time to train himself with all these classes he had to give. Man the look he gave to me I will never forget, in his eyes I could see that he did not in any way want to start and justify himself. the answer he gave to me was so obscure that I have no memory at all of what he said.

How this for weird McDojo BS.

There is another forum that bashes my old art fairly well. Well I found it funny that we sell their products. So, I sent a letter to my instructors.

I get this long ass response dealing with the fact that I shouldn't be on the internet or on forums. Then they listed all of their training. Sad thing is I knew what 85% of what they listed would entail. No fucking way could they do that, even in small sections, while running 2 schools, doing the books, writing reciepts etc..

The old saying the icing on the cake fit appropriately. I basically quit soon after.

Irrefutable proof in my humble opinion:

THAT ASKARI IS EVIL!!

PS - Damn, if quiting an organization because you aren't the big dog isn't the essence of Bullshido I don't know what is. F*ck you all, I'm taking my buckey of ****, my snappy silk sash and matching hand bag and going home!

That's like winning the Steven Cup after quiting the NHL to form the NNHL!

say, there is a theory being floated that these threads are actually done by FSD
instructors/students to draw attention to their clubs. "No such thing as bad publicity" Any thoughts on that?

Recently an ex-student provided to me the materials that he/she received in attending the "Fang Shen Do as Your Path to Success" seminar (or whatever they call it). At first I thought it was a joke, but the person insisted that it was the real deal.

Now I had heard about this seminar (and had it pushed at me) but I never attended as I was there to learn a martial art - I had all of the other bases covered and didn't need someone pitching the latest get-rich-quick idea to me. I figured that, given JP's predilection for Tony "banana-hands" Robbins that it would be a lot of that mixed in with a bit of kung-fu flavour in order to get potential school owners all excited. What I found was completely different. Here are a few choice quotes:

"You will experience integrated thinking (Vision Nine), which will eventually take you into Neothink puzzle building."

"Before long, you will see a puzzle-picture forming that has never been seen before... your first leap into the new, Neothink mind-space of the God-Man."

I know what you're thinking, because I was thinking the same thing - WTF!?!?!?

I knew that this couldn't be original, becuase JP just doesn't use terms like "neothink". There was also a chart that included words like "Bicameral" (see attachment). So I started Googling. It didn't take me long to find the source. There's a whole "neo-tech" philosophy/cult/whatever out there that was started by "Dr. Frank Wallace" (real name Wallace Ward), who was a chemist at DuPont.

Looking over some of the neo-tech stuff, JP's recent "anti-aging" bent becomes more clear. It turns out that Wallace was obsessed with immortality. I thought about scanning in some of the material and posting it, but as it turns out I don't have to. You can read it all right here:

http://www.neo-tech.com/book1/

There are some minor differences, but otherwise it's word-for-word. I don't know whether they had permission to use this material or if they just decided to use it. This is, bar-none, the most bizarre thing that I've ever seen. I mean, I knew that the Patenaudes were kinds, y'know, "out there", but this takes the cake. It's days like this that I thank God (the real one, not the man-one) that I got out of that organization when I did.

This thread just perked up, eh, Dictionary69?

Say, Dictionary69, you were going to make a comparison between Bruce Lee and Jacques Patenaude, that would still be fun, and it would liven up this place. It's either that or new drapes, hard to decide.

Oh oh oh! Silk! Silk always adds colour and life to a room! Maybe, white silk trimmed in gold. Does that sound over the top?

Stringfellow,

That **** doesn't surprise me at all. Nothing would satisfy JP more if he could stop the hands of time and become immortal. I wonder if he's reading this? If you are JP I would like to recommend "The Celestial Prophecy" by James Redfield. It's a great book about a man traveling to Peru because of a secret. Anyway, to make a long story short, apparently there was a society that had elevated themselves spiritually to such a point that they became immortal. They lived on earth but in a completely different realm. No one could see them because they weren't as spiritually elevated. Infact, very few people will ever be able to reach that point. Although the book is fiction, many believe it's fact. I don't know, but you might be able to pull a seminar or two out of it. Maybe charge aroung 999.99$

Your post reminds me Stringfellow. My friend sent me all the stuff on the FSD anti-aging seminar and I think I still have it. I'll look through it when I get the time and see if I can find any other crazy ****.

Well if you consider exposing a MA school with a money grab attitude 'not much',
then they are not doing much of anything i guess...except to draw attention to questionable FSD practise and get over 10,000 hits :)

Actually this thread is doing a great job

Hello!!

I was just reading an old thread on a throwdown that was being held in montreal? Would there be anyone interested in doing one in Ottawa? Always wondered how my training would compare to other arts and I would like to see if what you guys are saying about all this great stuff that you say is missing in FSD. Any takers? I know some of you will say to go to tournaments and stuff but there is too much politics in those. Did anyone go to one of the schools finnaly to chalenge one of these guys? Would love to get the details. Cheers for now
