here are a couple of concepts of movement that i'd like to post for discussion.
HANDS AND FEET MOVE TOGETHER
HANDS AND FEET MOVE SEPARATELY
the first method is suitable for striking.
the second method is suitable for upright grappling technique.
the first method promotes mobility.
the second method enhances leverage.
the motions used with these principles are not technically different in execution. the major difference is an alteration of the timing of the use of the joints.
if you use the first method for grappling, you will be overturned easily.
if you use the second method for striking, they will be slow and lacking in power.
