i'm returning to japan around may 2-7 (hopefully a little longer.)

going to be teaching a class again, and if it all works out i'll have some free time.

i'd like to throwdown with you guys if possible, or maybe we can all go see a fight like noodles and i did last year... (btw, noodles, if you want video footage of that night i ended up getting ahold of the tv broadcast.)

Mongo -- only one guy currently training BJJ in our (currently very) little group, but hopefully he'll be coming out. I'll e-mail him next week.

losttrak -- yes it is. We're all old and have jobs, and only have distant memories of cardio conditioning.

Ming -- my wife is due to give birth on May 2, so your timing couldn't be much worse this time around. Would be nice to get together for something, but you should probably count me out.

Alright -- currently 3 people saying they're in for Sun April 9 (me, BJJ guy, random football hooligan) plus hopefully Mongo and Ultimate Gaijin (where are you man? don't make me PM you) and Jeff. And Ming Loyalist if he can get here quicker and further feed the yellow fever. And maybe a couple of other guys -- will see how things develop in the next week or two.

Actually, I think he was 3rd lightweight amateur in the all-Kanto tournie a couple of years ago. Can ask him on Sunday, I guess.

Also (getting my excuses set in advance) -- with this goddamn job thing and the end of the fiscal year, I'm going into the Throwdown stone frickin' cold. Going to have to watch some videos just to remember what punching is.

I called Cosmic (Cosmo?) and they said they were kashikiri and I just assumed that SSC and Cosmic would do as they always had and alternate so there is always one open. I think Noodles was thinking the same thing. When I got there the people at SSC were like no, we are under new management and we are not open and we no longer cooperate with Cosmic or have their schedule, in fact we are even hesitant to tell you where Cosmic is or admit that such a thing as Cosmic (or Cosmo) Sports Center even exists.
I was also informed that it is my own fault for not keeping up with current events because they have been under new management since April 1.
How silly of me.
I have the SSC April schedule (As that's as far ahead as they publish.)
I will check next time!
