That is up to them. They have a great place and we had a great time last time they did it. I missed the most recent event in Pleasant hills (?) which sounded like a good place too.

I train in my Garage so my place is not a good location.

Holy crap, I actually live in the Bay Area now... well... sort of i live in china now, but hopefully i will when there is actually one of these events... but i do have a business registered there. Non-MA related, but i might actually get to attend one of these things. YAY me... ok, i'm a homo.

I wish i could host one but my school is way too small and has not mats. C'mon there has to be someone from the Bay Area that can host one of these things.

I don't think we are going to host any at modcom for a bit. We just doubled the size of the gym. We are still in the process of matting all the walls, hanging heavy bags, etc. Also, a lot of us have been focused on competing in Muay thai, judo, and jujitsu, so there hasn't been a whole lot of interest in setting up a throwdown. The kyokoshin school did a nice job of hosting last time, maybe they want to do it again. If another school held an event, I am sure we would bring some people to play with you guys (myself included).

Hey guys. Its Justin again. I havent been on this site for a while, but I saw this thread so I thought i'd drop a line. As far as another event, I know Tyrone my instructor/friend would be interested but its not quite the best time because his free time (weekends) are full with classes he is taking. I know an impromptu get-together on say....a monday night is good too. Well, if people start throwing ideas around on this thread i'll tune in.

Yeah I got the itch... went back to training after a few months of absence (away from school) and now... well.. hopefully something will happen.

HeHeHe, well a park kinda prevents a homeowner from shouldering any liabilty issues. I guess if your a renter....

I'm down for anything as long as I can take the bus there or something.

Like I said, you guys can come to the dojo....Just let me know a date and a time and we can try to figure it out. To start, weekends arent so good.
