Dragging it out? She practically sprinted across the cage and KO'd her opponent immediately.

Sure, but she didn't jump on her and finish it when she went down.
That's dragging it out.

Sure, it was cool as ****. But if you wanna play it safe (and most times you should), it's not a good idea.
But the woman sucked, so it's not like she was taking a risk, anyway.

She said that she wanted to make the fight last till the second round.

Yes Kat, I did watch the video, and I do believe that you did own her pretty bad. She shouldn't have been allowed in the ring on the basis of claiming to be trained in "street-fighting". If anything it's a black mark on MMA as a whole when a promotor will allow a person with no real experience into a ring/cage and go against someone like yourself that's been doing it for months and knows how to kick ass.

As it relates to the possible fighters for the washington show you will be at here's the fighters from the first HnS Revolution that would match given the weight you said you fight at.

Jennifer Irons (155)
Jessica Ross (155)
Mayra Conde (150)
Angela Restad (150)

Oh and you say that many women's MMA fighters don't have striking power?

That's Hisae Watanabe at a SMACKGirl event in Japan. I'm not to sure who the american she knocks out is though.

It's a good thing you took her down when you did cause pizza the hut looked pretty hungry.

the real reason Kat didn't follow ol' Kirby to the ground was cuz she figured since she took a visit to dream land, the fight was over.

The way I see it, Kat was better off standing because there was no way she could mount that thing. Had she followed her to the ground, chances are good she would have been phagocyted.

Kat's only saying she wanted to drag it out longer because she won't admit that she couldn't control her on the ground if it were humanly possible.

I also don't know if anyone else has noticed but you and Ashly seem to be taking on alot of fights in a short ammount of time. I mean you had your first kickboxing match less than a week ago, and then you take on an MMA fight over the weekend. And now you are gonna have another match in less than 3 weeks.

There is nothing wrong with taking back to back fights as long as you are phsyically and mentally able. Especially when you don't even break a sweat.

Edit: Good job on beating her ass, Anna.

I think you put on an awesome display of technique. So often we see people in the ring/cage succumb to nerves and start swinging wildly, but your punches and kicks were tight, crisp, and on target. Nice Job!!!

First of all, brilliant showing. You absolutely dominated that through and through. The rapid fire leg kicks were great. After that I half expected you to just hammer the legs and watch her buckle under the weight.

Secondly, I must thank you for inspiring me to get off my ass and start training again. Sometimes you need a kick in the ass, and this did it for me. So thanks for that jolt of inspiration.

I've showed this video to a few friends and they all thought it was awesome. You're an e-celebrity.

You defeated Kirby? That takes some doing. How did you avoid getting sucked in by his mighty lungs?

Honestly that was some of the funniest **** I have seen in a long time. It was like watching Mike Tyson vs some random boxing fan who started talking ****. The skill differential was so high I do not think we have equipment here on earth to measure it.

Indeed.
And I agree with Osiris. Don't stop until the ref pulls you off.

Watching this leads me to believe I would regret my promise to stand with you for the first round if we fought, Kat. I think I'd end up looking the worse for wear even if I won.

Thats actually what i told myself i would do in such a situation, but man... i got in there and any gameplan i pretty much forgot. It's easy to look back and say "i should have done this" but when you're actually in the moment you kind of forget stuff. I had a little victory show i wanted to do, but i completely forgot to do it too

as far as i'm concerned you can't be faulted. she went down, you thought she was out... i actually like it when fighters kinda say "this punk is gone, i'm just gunna let em go down". and most of the time when the other fighter gets back up, they get smashed again.

if you can, watch the duane ludwig vs shad smith fight from KOTC. it's similar to your fight in a lot of ways, but longer.

Lights Out

Congratulations on your flawless victory. Perfect 5,000

I guess that your ass is sore right now, of all the ass-licking youŽre getting lately. If there is still a little room for another tongue, IŽll say this:

It is very uncommon for someone with that little training, such as you, to show those amazing skills, and mindset. My guess is that youŽre naturally talented to fight, and a living proof to shut up those "women r 2 week to fight, OMG!!!".

In short, I envy your natural disposition and skills.

Congratulations again.
