Not only that, but Omega banned a guy for throwing out empty threats at him.

If you have a beef with someone's fighting ability, then you should arrange to meet them in person for a throwdown and settle in there and then. Most of you guys are in America/Canada so it can't be that hard.

Or you should post video footage of yourself training/sparring in order to prove your point. Thats the only way.

Yeah I know that.

But the two countries are right next to each other. It not like you have to fly half way around the world to get there.

I dont understand why that irks you, I invested a signifigant ammount of time and money into training, finding, and traveling for these fights, after Spatch knocked out her first opponent in 54 seconds and was completely disappointed i decided I want to avoid that kind of thing. My opinion is that to be a popular fighter you have to give a little bit of a show, no, MMA is not pro wrestling, but some of the more popular fighters certainly bring a little pro wrestling flare to the cage, Genki Sudo and Mayhem Miller come to mind as does Jean Silva.

Without some kind of memorable performance you're just another fight on the card. Like i said, no one remembered the other fights when the night was over but both my fights made an impression and got me some fans and promoters that are very eager to have me back and match me up with someone closer to my level.

I am the one putting my ass on the line when I decide to play around and give someone free shots and **** like that. Trust me, i am not eager to get knocked out or lose a fight and I am only going to do it when I am confident i can get away with it, if me taking it easy and trying to put on a show irks you, then just dont come watch me fight.

Mostly it's an issue of respect from my vantage point. There are women out there that have worked like crazy to train and become fighters and put everything they have into each fight. But you have almost half their experience and claim that you are twice as skilled. Something of a disservice to those that work their asses off.

And yes I do agree that showmanship counts. But most fighters put the show outside the ropes, once they enter it's all business. Hector "Macho" Camacho and his outlandish outfits, the ring entrances of Kazushi Sakuraba, and the Louisville Lip himself Muhammad Ali.

They earned the right to be showy, "cocky", etc in the ring. In my opinion you have to earn the right to do that stuff.

Done, next time we have sparring night and all the fighters i mentioned are there i'll be sure and have my rounds video taped.

Didn't you say you already had some footage of you sparring with two amatures from USA boxing?

I live in Canada. After the kitchen reno I'm putting in a nice training area. you guys (and girls) are all welcome to pop in and get in quick work out. There's always beer in the fridge but you must put the empties away in the recycling bin.

Congrats Kat. Can't wait until you have a worthwhile opponent.

I live on the East Coast. To fly to the west coast requires a six and a half hour plane ride. Flying to England, by contrast, requires seven.

Just because the countries are "right next to each other" doesn't mean it's easy, short, or inexpensive to get from one place to the other, you idiot.

Hannibal: you often say ridiculous and silly things, but you are not even close Carbon when it comes to stupidity. Not even in the same ballpark. I salute you.

Oh and Kat: Congrats on your win. Here's hoping you and/or kid get a fight soon that is somewhere close enough to me to justify the trip.

I don't know, but my point is America is fucking huge and Canada is even bigger. It took my dad three and a half days to get here (Washington state) from New Jersey when we moved. Granted, he slept at night at motels, but to say "oh, you're in the same country = you can walk that far" is ridiculous.

Yes, this world is overpopulated and I hate it.

But my point was if Carbon has a beef with AnnaT's/JKDChick's or anyone else's fighting ability, he should put up or shut up.

I agree with your second point, though.

3/07/2006 12:11am,
You call me stupid, but you morons don't even read my posts. Someone quote me on when I said I wanted to fight JKDChick?

I said SHE is the one who wanted to fight about what? 2 or 3 years ago? I could give a ****, and someone has already offered to come and meet me and "throwdown". It's a pointless arguement and eventually you will see video of me, and then you can judge for yourself.

I never said Kat did bad, what more can you ask for in a 30 second KO fight? The point wasn't her performance, it was the performance against a shitty opponent.

Also to the person calling me a ******...you say to insult someone's sexuality is immature, but you keep repeating to me over and over that I'm gay. Are you going to tell me over and over again that I'm white?

I get it man, I'm gay, and the person I claimed to have sex with was you. By your definition is only the man giving the dick gay? Or what?

I don't understand your logic on how I am gay and you are not, if you are having sex with me....another man. I'll let you think about that for a little while.

the big bad Carbon is the exact same silly child he's always been, and just as easy to manipulate.

Well he isn't quite the same - he's 21 now so we could get him drunk and see if he unclenches a little.

A diamond might fall out.
