I'm still new to MA but I have been doing some more sparring lately. In my last class I hit my shins pretty hard and now I notice I have a softspot off the side of the bone where the bruise is. It feels like harder cartlidge on the other leg but where it bruised badly its soft and squishy. Is this normal?

You just need to give it time to heal; it will either go back to normal or be even tougher in that area later on.

I didn't think it was much of a problem just wanted to be sure. Dosen't hurt unless I touch it :) Ill just kick with the other leg tonight !
