My diet kicks ass. I get results so quickly now it feels like I'm cheating. Most people who see me think I'm depriving myself of some massive amount of food, water, sex, or time, whilst the truth is so much farther off.

I have several secrets and little shortcuts. For example, before my workout, I drink a shake consisting of:

1/2 cup mixed fruit(a heaping half a cup)
1/2 cup mixed berries
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup pineapple
1/2 cup melon
1/2 cup juicy juice(mixed flavors)
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 1/2 teaspoons creatine
and
1 1/2 scoops mixed berry flavor protein powder(it makes everything taste awesome)
Blended up, it only makes about 16 ounces of liquid.
I also eat a multivitamin, flaxseed oil pill, amino acid pill, glutamine pill, and calcium pill.

Then during my workout, I drink a shake with about 1/2 cup regular fat free pudding, 1 cup milk and 1 cup green tea, with another 1 1/2 teaspoons creatine, 1/2 scoops vanilla flavor protein powder(to accent the chocolate pudding), and 1/2 teaspoons glutamine to make a big 24 ouncer.

Then afterwords I have another pre workout shake except I add 1 1/2 teaspoons glutamine to the mixture.

I eat a meal consisting of a lean protein to complex carbohydrate ratio of 2:1 one hour after my workout and again 3 hours after my workout.

I fill up the rest of my eating schedual with LP to CC meals at a 1:1 with quality fats like fish and olive oil, about 3 more meals, ending the day with cottage cheese, oatmeal and a salad to send me off to sleepyland without hardly any muscle catabolism during my sleeping hours. I eat 7-8 meals training days and 5-6 meals nontraining days.

I drink at least 40 ounces of green tea every day to speed up my metabolism, if I can help it, all my food is spicy, and I never let my drinks get warm(your digestive system has to heat water to higher than room temperature to digest it, the farther it is from that temperature, the more calories are burned in the process. Of course, my protein shakes aren't that cold, because they need to be absorbed quickly)

I consume almost no High Fructose Corn Syrup or Trans Fatty Acids.

I always do full body workouts. More muscle affected, more human growth hormone released, more results.

I do HIIT, agility training and skill training on off days. Total 45 minutes.

I should go to a throwdown just to go on a hand kissing tour of Bullshido, because the rest of you should bow down to my kickass diet and training and my largely superior brain. The rest of you peasants could learn a thing or 7 from me.

Drinking cold drinks to burn calories is a myth.

In my physics class we once calculated that if you wanted to burn off an excess of 2000 Calories you'd have to eat either 40lbs or 40kg (can't remember which) of ice a day. Granted, you don't want to burn that much, but you're burning maybe 5 Calories throughout the day doing what you're doing, so don't bother.

Remember: Calorie = 1000 calories.

In order to raise one gram of water 1ºC, you need 1 calorie of energy. Most of what you drink is water, or at least enough to assume all of it is. (since water has a really high specific heat anyway, a lot of the stuff you eat probably takes less heat to raise its temp)

Hell, let's say you drink 3kg (three liters) of water at 0ºC a day and it needs to be raised to 37ºC.

37 x 3000 x 1 = 111000 calories = 111 Calories per day.

Like I said, this is assuming your body needs to heat the water to your regular temperature, that you're drinking 3kg of PURE water (which has a high specific heat) a day, and that the water starts at 0ºC

Neither of those are likely.

You'd be better off saving the money you spend on supps and actually going back to taking lessons.

Indeed. I gained 15lbs since I started lifting and I've hardly been taking in any protein shakes. It's almost entirely due to eating more real food and lifting.

What? The 60 dollars I spend a year? The 20 dollars I spend a month on my gym membership? What lessons? Martial Art lessons? Be more specific.

And Poop Loops, it's not a myth, and besides, green tea isn't good hot. Chamomile is. And orange. Black tea isn't good hot either. I was just explaining the many things I do that add up to what I am. I don't train aesthetically, but I'm ripped. My secret's in the kitchen. Not the lack of it, no. The abundance. Ther'e too many people who think I'm starving myself and spending 5 hours a day in the gym and it's not true. I'm just answering questions that noone asked.

Edit: And Koto, I'd join the MA program at the YWCA, but I no longer have a job. I have to find one within a month or go bankrupt.

As you said, actually burning 111 Calories a day by drinking lots of cold water might not be likely, but you make it sound like an extra 111 Calories per day is insignificant. It might not make a huge difference, but any extra calories burned add up over time and result in weight loss, or at least less weight gain.

So you drink eight cups worth of super yogurt?

Like I said, those 5 or so Calories he doesn't burn a day won't kill him. 111 Calories is a lot, but that's assuming he downs 3 Liters of freezing cold water a day. You get 20% of your water from food, and most people don't eat frozen food. That's 2.4 Liters left. It would have to be PURE water, because water has a high specific heat. If he drinks 2.4 Liters of his Super Yogurt, there is a ton of stuff in there with low specific heat. That means it heats faster and doesn't need as much energy. Lastly, 2.4 Liters of liquid is a lot to drink during the day, but still the most likely out of the 3 conditions.

Instead of constantly worrying about his diet, he should try to find a job.

$60/year on all those chemicals you listed? Do you buy them used or something?

A 5lb bucket of protein powder (the shitty Costco kind) costs $20 and lasts me 3 months. But I only take like 3 shakes per week. If you eat that **** every day, it will cost you a lot more than that.

Edit: And Koto, I'd join the MA program at the YWCA, but I no longer have a job. I have to find one within a month or go bankrupt.Wait, you train at the YWCA (http://www.ywca.org/)?! The Young Women's Christian Association?! Well, that explains a lot...

And bao, you should go to a Throwdown. It'll be an ass-kicking lollapalooza as your shredded and ripped body gets destroyed by every opponent you roll with because they actually train martial arts...even the *gasp* non-shredded, non-nutritionally timing, un-propriocepted, non-Swiss-ball using, un-stabilizer focused out-of-shape ones.

You live in East Alton. I'm not impressed, even if you are some kind of hillbilly superman.

Yeah, I live right by the Mississippi River, next to the gateway into St. Louis, so yeah, of course there's like, cows and farms and Amish people all over, no cars, dirt roads and such. Your an idiot. Think about the location before you insult it. East Alton is a city. A city next to a metropolis as big as Chicago. If I wanted, I could have a mix of all cultural experiences, from the farmland to the city, and I have, seeing that I've attended 4 different high schools in my time, so you can suck my, and East Alton's balls.

I have yet again, not said **** about my fighting ability, instead using a Maddox-like boast to bring attention to my diet regimen, which is far superior than anything you could spew out of that tiny brain of yours, or shove in your gigantic mouth. Yeah, I'll readily admit that I'd probably get tore up at a throwdown, seeing that I haven't actively participated in instructed martial arts practice in over 4 years, but I'd bet my life that I'd take one of you motherfuckers down, because I still practice what I've been taught, and I do what's important on a weekly basis: spar.

And what's the problem with the YWCA? Weights are weights. Gravity still works there I'm afraid. Come back with a better insult.

Nice use of my quote though. I was already fired before I said it. She told me I'm fired, and because I hate the bitch, I wigged out in front of customers, coworkers, and managers, and I broke a chair on the way out. If I saw her at any later point in time, I'd headbutt her in the teeth. I hate her more than I hate AkiraMusashi. And I don't know how many times I have to tell your face, I mean people, that I don't train aesthetically. I guess you'll have to google that word, because you don't understand it.

Oh, and most of my supplements come from

1. Old and out of shape people who I know, who no longer need the supplementation or just don't want it.

2. Friends who buy me presents because I'm badass, and they should.

3. On clearance at GNC, with a Gold Card discount that makes everything cost less than 8 dollars.

I don't worry about my diet and I'm trying to find a job. Thank you, Suggestion Boy, now go run along and find yourself a chicken flavored cereal bar.

But you make a thread in which you masturbate to your diet and "ripped' body. On a martial arts forum. Go figure.

What did you get fired for?

Also, trying to be like Maddox is the exact opposite of being Maddox. He's funny because he actually knows (or can fake it enough) what he's talking about. You are a dipshit. See the difference?

You're on crack if you think green and black tea taste better cold.

As for your diet, meh, what can I say? You follow Men's Health religiously.

But you mix pudding and green tea? WHAT THE ****

Besides, I drink more tea than you. And black tea has more caffeine in it, but then again EGCG (sp?) is another substance to boost metabolism.

Regarding a throwdown, we've had 9 of them in Chicago. Maybe you'd like to make it to number 10?

While diet is important, people respond to different things. Saying you have the ultimate diet is kind of a moot point when you have boxers being tigers on tortillas or even fried chicken. Hell, some of them eat crazy **** like calve's foot jelly, or are like Floyd Patterson who would just chew the meat a dozen times then spit it out. Then you have basketball players who fast once a week, or wrestlers who eat vegan pizza the night before a big match. Last I remember anyways, you just looked skinny and ripped with very little muscle mass. I hope you've at least added some mass by now since you're doing full-body routines.

A highly structured diet is also the diet that's more likely to fall through and not be followed to its entirety.
