I kind of agree with Joe on the "crazy drugs are really interesting and can be a life changing experience".

I disagree with his idea that it's some fantastically great spiritual thing. It's just chemicals. Just chemicals. He says so too...but the thing is, that's the important point, and he just glosses over it.

He also acts like he's got "teh sekret o' life" because he's done drugs. No Joe, no.

That said, there is nothing like a good high dose of dextromethorphine hydrobromide. I recommend everyone who wants to go on a weird trip, do it once. But it's not "fun" just incredibly different than regular conciousness.

I believe he was arguing that dreams are induced by chemicals. Therefore the chemicals themselves are what grant us this "spiritual insight"

I dont think that Rogan is a religious/ spiritual man at all, seems to me that he would claim that spirituality is simply a "trick we play on ourselves to convince us we are individual and unique" When in fact we are just chemically motivated to spread accross the globe.
