A MUGGER who attacked a pensioner got a shock when his victim turned out to be a martial arts experts.

Colin Weekes, 68, who has black belts in judo, tae kwon do, karate and jujitsu, fought back and put the thug in a headlock until police arrived. Brave Colin, of Nottingham, said: "I'm sure I broke his fingers. He picked on the wrong bloke."

A man in his 30s is under investigation by cops.

The one thing that raises red flags with me is all the black belts this guys has, seems like a little bit of embellishment to me.

Hey I don't know anything about this guy outside the story. As far as I'm concerned, it's just Martial Arts in the news, and that's why it's up on the front page.

Jeez, you'd think we were just about degrading the martial arts or something, and nothing could be further from the case. It's just that in order to scare off the roaches, you have to shine a light on them.

Actually it's kungfools who constantly degrades the arts. At least I think thats who BK was refering to.

how is four black belts embellishment when the dude is 68 years old? If he enjoys martial arts hes had A LOT of time to train in stuff.

You may want to reiterate that to Robert of TMI, because a month prior to that match, he assured me that they had the ability to deal with any grappler. I guess eye gouges just didn't do the trick. (Chuckles)
