I'm in. I'll have to set this up for next weekend, but I'm in.

I'll be using Ed Brown 1911A1 .45

Disclaimer: my particular range couldn't support 35 feet and 55 feet, so I went with 15 yards and 20 yards respectively.

G34 with adjustable factory sights, Winchester "White Box" 115 gr. Walmart crap ammo:

G21C with aftermarket ghost ring sights, Wolf 230 gr. FMJ:

No misses on these, although there were a few misses when I was warming up. Blame it on the coffee.

No problem. My distances weren't precise either.

I see you also tend towards low-and-left.

I think my refund this year will go towards a trigger job. :XXonlyamo

<=== Scanner noob. Leave it to me to botch a one button evolution.

The G21 has seen I don't know how many thousands of rounds and the trigger is broken in to the point of almost being too light; in fact, between the sluggish operation and the occasional stutter where none used to be, I think that I've finally worn out the recoil spring. The G34 is only a year old and is noticably tighter, but I shoot a bit better with it so I really can't blame the trigger. (I usually do anyway, though.)

The problem is that I've spent years shooting primarily Berettas, and I'm having a difficult time "forgetting" that particular trigger.

I am sort of dropping the ball.

I hate it when a plan doesn't come together.
