Combatsports.com has an excellent selection but horrid shipping times and costs.
I'll throw in a good word for Primetime Level 4 MMA gloves. If I get around to it, I'll do a more complete review. For now I'll just say that while working in light/medium MMA sparring (jabs plus take downs and grappling) my partner didn't get pissed at the jabs and I hardly noticed I was wearing the gloves. (Then again, I'm usually wearing 16 oz boxing gloves, so these MMA gloves were bound to feel very liberating.)
Here's the link: http://nextmovegear.com/fight/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=3&zenid=f84f7fa2133f8298b3a505a6d726cdb2
Their customer service seemed very good too.

Thank you,
Wonder if anyone has tried the Gel-shock gloves.
Or is it just a gimmick? pretty reasonable though thanks again.
John Ouano.
He makes the gloves for UFC, KotC, and Shooto, AND he's a Hell of a nice guy.

Yes Combatsports has scandalous shipping times but nearly all their range can be bought on ebay both cheaper and with better shipping. I'm currently using these:

Which I found here:

These are also supposed to be very good for training:

I have these: http://www.combatsports.com/detail_tuf.aspx?ID=22227 and like them a lot.

Our club has a bunch of these for people who dont own their own gloves.

I bought a pair of them for myself and I dont have any complaints. I havn't heard any complaints from anyone in the club either. Or any fighters at the shows that wear them.

For sparring or competition?
For competition I used some nice fairtex gloves once and i've been considering picking some up. The Primetime gloves someone mentioned are good for sparring. (They have the shock absorbancy potential of a 14-160oz glove, our old gym used these)

I'll definitely check that eBay store out. RioFightwear had CS products but got them drop-shipped, so I got my RF order within a week FROM BRAZIL and my CS gear still took forever.
I only ordered from them again yesterday because the Adidas Evolution Karate mitts were on clearance and I haven't been able to find them anywhere else.

I've personally never had any issues with combatsports.com and shipping. However you can get the same stuff for cheaper elsewhere.
Greetings.
Definately Ouano imo.
