Does anyone know a good supplier for padding for columns? Our club has moved to a new space with columns in middle of the training area. So far, web searches have proved fruitless.
The columns are approx 8 inches square in cross-section.
:BangHead: <-- don't want to do this anymore
Thanks!

I think those might be too small (6-7 inch maximum size) and designed for round posts instead of square.
However, I did order one of those spotting rigs for me and the missus.

We use regular folding mats for the one real big column in our gym:

And the one on the right is clearly for square columns.

I found a local foam supplier that will make custom fit 2" thick dense foam padding (88" tall for those fights against Wilt Chamberlain types). All this for about $40 US per column.
Check the local yellow pages under... get this... "foam". Bah, who needs the Interweb.

Every time I see this thread in "new posts" I think it's someone bitching about the way the CSS is structured around here.
Anyway, I'll ask my instructor to find out where he got his. We've got a column right in the middle of the mats (moving to a new building soon), and the one he's got is specifically designed to cover something like that.
