Keep in mind the training camp is Saturday and Sunday, so I'm not going to get too crazy after hours Saturday night. I don't drink anyway, so no biggie.

I'm not so sure this is a TD. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm down to ride if it IS, but I'm pretty sure that this is just a friendly gathering to watch UFC and imbibe alchohol.

You have a pretty decent clinch but you need to work on your takedowns and more then just the hip toss maybe shoot or different throw.

But yeah that sounds like an idea for us maybe like spar or something and I have friends that might want to do it too how much are you weighing about.

Anyway, next year all Illinois/Kentucky/Missouri Bullies need to meet up at this seminar. It's a great deal for $75 for two days. Fantastic instruction geared toward pure Vale Tudo from guys who do it. John Renken had to leave after his instruction today because he's got seven students fighting MMA tonight. Mr. Han (not Master Han's Martial Arts Mr. Han) is a three time Korean national Judo champion and Olympic alternate. Vince Fields is a student of Gokor, Lebell and Parisiyan with SICK leg locks and neck cranks--but he's roughly my size, though taller and better proportioned.

There were twelve students and five instructors today. Just a great experience--can't say enough.

The Paducah TD IS still up in Oct, that I know of, this thing me and monkey didn't make it to was just a "drink-and-watch-UFC" type of thing.

anyway.. when in october is this throwdown happening?

I picked up a teeny bit of judo/Muay Thai clinch hybrid stuff this weekend. If I get the chance to practice it, standup might go a little differently at the next Throwdown. Got some great guillotine tips, too, along with some neat leg locks and a "fat guy triangle."

I'll show 'em to you once for free.

If we're going to try to meet in October, it needs to be the end or, better yet, November. I can't do anything the weekend of Oct. 22nd. Maybe the week before that if you guys are determined to do it in October. Or the last weekend . . . we'll have a Halloween throwdown.

I have not, thus far, received either apple butter or NSFW photographs of hippy rave girls.

I am not pleased. The tribute must flow or retribution will be swift and terrible.
