Alright let the planning begin. Looks like we are talking about the 13th of November.We have a few options for the locale. The fight club building we were at today, the Kenpo teacher is considering letting us use his school or any other venue you guys can come up with.Also we need a camera man.

I can make the 13th of Novemeber (I will be away the 2 following weekends). Thats only 2 weeks though, so how much I fight will depend on how fast my knee heals.

I got mixed feelings about the venue, it was fucking awesome to have it in the Ghetto, however I have a feeling a more "safe" venue would attract a bigger croud and be a bit more safe in the long run.

Catch the Kenpo teacher and see what he has to say. Of course, I can always just scope out an abandoned building ... can't promise rats or anything.

NYC might resolve that **** today in my favor in which case we're set. Might as well ask the Cops if they want to disarm and go at it ... kind of like community networking ... or sumthin ...

I talked to John Rallo today while at ground control about using our school for the monthly throwdown. He said we could use it on the condition that everyone sign a waiver of course and we pay 10 dollars for the mat fee (normally mat fee is 20).We have 3500 sq feet of mat space and a big ass parking lot out front.Soon we will have half an octagon .Unfortunately there is no 20 foot drop to death or ladders to climb.

I opt for that groundcontrolba. Got word back from NYC last night that they are going to have a couple of meetings to resolve the situation at 312 Park Ave. The Han move like pond water and who the Hell knows what the eventual outcome will be. $10 for a real facility is too sweet a deal to pass up IMO. You won't have to lug mats around either so that is another plus.

I think that would be a good idea. Paying $10 dollars for a comdenmed building with dust all over the floor or paying $10 dollars for a real school with mats. I'd choose John Rallo's school.

Also if someone gets seriously hurt it would be a pain in the neck to get them down that ladder without them falling off the edge into the death pit that was right off the side of the ladder. I mean of all places for a death pit, they had to put one right by the base of the ladder.

JFS's place would be ok but even if he wins the arguement with the chinese, that room on the 3rd floor was pretty small. Even smaller than the condemned building. There wasn't enough room to lay down 2 mats.

But But no death pit? No 20 meter fall out a window? I printed some of those pic out and hung them up at work, now they think I am insane (ok they already thought that).

Cool ... I can get some of my Schizophrenic Clients to show as well ... that, along with the panhandlers should make Kikkoman's day. Did you see how that panhandler took to Kikkoman? I mean, a whole bunch of us and those two just bonded from the start ... it was a beautiful thing to see ... let's make it happen again for him.
