Are we still talking about our "hardest hits?"
Upon scrolling to the last page, what do I find but a discussion about lighting farts. To think I was going to share something silly, like a hit to the head with a spin heel kick.

My worst was grappling and i was stopping a guy getting a figure 4 lock on me. His hand slipped from him sweating and his finger nail cut me beside the eye and followed through with the elbow. IT HURT!
Haha but that's a bout the worst i've been hit so far. Aside from a couple of black eyes or bruised stomachs.

I once hit a tree brach with a sledgehammer(don't ask). It bounced right back.
It was a nice, long nap though.

It was in advanced sparring during the free for all rounds. There weren't enough people to rotate so one of the masters teaching geared up. I was sitting on the side when he motioned for me to spar him. I was a red belt at the time so I felt confident enough I could go to-to-toe with the head master and not get totally destroyed........
So we bowed, shook hands etc and began. Got some nice hard shots in on each other. Then he really picked it up. Started moving faster and striking harder, I'm gasping for breath but he kept encouraging me to push myself. I back up to create some distance. We're both standing there when I threw two quick feints and charged with an off the line roundhouse kick then BAM!
Next thing I knew I stumbling around trying to keep my balance. My vision was blurry and I couldn't breathe so he sat me down. Apparently he countered my roundhouse with a jumping spinning hook that hit me square on my temple. After about five minutes when I slowly began to recover he brought me some water asked if I was ok and then went "Do you want one more round?"
I love this man.

when i was in my 20's I had some problems with sinus infections. So, I went to a doctor. Kept having problems, so they did a CT scan. I go in to consult and they ask, "how'd you break your face?" I looked at them and said, "what do you mean? I've never broken my face" They showed me the CT scan. I said it wasn't mine. Turns out it was mine. My sinuses were broken. My nose was broken. The blow was in an upward direction. To this day, I have no clue how it happened or when it happened.
I'm assuming that it was a pretty hard hit, and I'm assuming that was the hardest I've been hit, so far.
7 year necro, not bad, Lazarus.
Back in the old days when I still did Shotokan, we did a lot of sparring and it was a bit unrefined. I was sparring with one of the bigger guys when he delivered a right roundhouse kick to my head, contacting with his shin.
I remember falling on my backside, and my vision shaking like mad for about 5-10 seconds before I got back up and kept going (Lord knows how).
I've had my nose bloodied more times than I can remember, and taken quite a few beatings but nothing has stopped me in my tracks quite like that kick did - absolutely cracking so it was !

hmmz.. Nothing comes to mind. Even though people have hit me in the head with tables and rocks.. It just don't bother me.
mmmm. was wrestling with a guy and i was on my back. He went to plant an elbow for better base right i went to put my head there. Elbow + nose = bloooooooooooooooooddddddddddd
3rd Hardest: I got hit badly on my thumb during a cross practice in Eskrima by an ironwood (ebony) stick. My thumb never quite fully function after that :(
2nd Hardest: I practice Kokikai Aikido (Aikikai->Ki Aikido-> Kokikai), which is relatively new style (3rd gen.) and founder Maruyama sensei still visit US annually to practice with the students. Last year I had the honor of being thrown. As soon as I grabbed him by his gi, I was thrown on the ground instantly. I did not fall properly, and I hit the ground really hard. I was dizzy and felt like puking throughout the whole practice.
HARDEST: Some stray soccer ball meant for the goal post hit me in the groin, and I am a healthy average man. One word: PAIN.

I practiced a jumping, spinnig back kick to the head at my kickboxing gym with a guy that was something like my training partner(we started the same day). He didn't care about his opponents so much, rather primitive brutal guy, and this jerk tried this kick at me with full speed and full force. The next thing I know is sitting on the floor, not knowing how I got there.

ouch.
..I've been rocked twice, both of them by scrawny fuckers who just caught me on the way in when I made a mistake, I find it really odd that I've never been rocked by anyone who has significant punching power.
My worst was from a teep funnily enough. I was very fatigued and basically impaled myself on a lunging teep that landed very low, about an inch above my cup. It put me on my arse, weirdly I couldn't breath but the urge to ****, piss and vomit all at once put that in the shade. Horrible!
