I usually have a bowl of rice and a big glass of water before I work out in the morning, as I don't like to get light headed but I don't want to eat a full meal either, on the chance it might be hitting the back of my teeth at the end of my sprints or on that next to last situp.
When I'm done, I usually have a big serving of chicken, tuna, salmon, halibut, or elk with little dressing up, just steak sauce or lemon or something, with a green pepper, raw veggies, or piece of fruit, once in a while a can of canned veggies, as winter is a bitch on the produce here...but they are very salty. Sometimes I'll have salad from canned tuna, but I'd rather grill a fillet if I have fish.
Actually, I should eat every meal like I do breakfast...but I can't say I do.
Also, "Throwdown" is the forum for planning actual meetings between members - questions like this go in the training/health forum.
Very similar to my diet..except juice in place of rice and water...sorry my mistake for posting the thread here

Someone will move it.
I go light on juice as it's basically sugar - but then, I'm always trying to cut weight, not pile it on.
OJ with brewers yeast, spirulina, vitamin C powder, various berries, maybe spinach
Or...
Milk, honey, cacoa beans in a blender
The great thing about these disturbing creations is that, eventhough they aren't terribly filling in any objective sense, they still keep your mind off food in general for a while.

I eat a lot of spinach, both greens and canned.
I'd actually love ideas on more things I can put canned spinach in...

Shouldn't I put curry in spinach, not the other way 'round?
Boiled Spinach ............Yum......Sadly it isn't sold in our country
Which part? The spinach, or the boiling?

I just finished off a small bowl of Egyptian rice pilaf smothered in stewed fava beans in tomato sauce with spinach. I cooked the beans last night, and the next day I must say they are absolutely delicious. If you can get fresh spinach it's great because it can be eaten either cooked or raw. Another breakfast favorite is two scrambled eggs with jalapeno, onion and a little feta cheese wrapped up in a breakfast burrito (this CAN be a little too heavy if you're having a strenuous workout though). I'm a stickler for free range eggs, so if those aren't available, or too pricey I'll fry up some tofu, spiced with cumin, tumeric and chili powder and use that instead.

BTW- on the topic of curries. This page has excellent recipes, which if followed correctly, taste EXACTLY like the curries I was eating when I was in England. Those were some of the best curries I'd ever had.
