Before you buy that gi, you can get blitz gold weave for about £30, they should be more then good enough for a beginner. Although they are cut for very fat people.

Well I got it because my mate can get the instructor's discount for me (almost 50%) also I wear white for Judo class and blue for informal rolling with BJJ/Judo friends...

Reversable coloured Gi's are used in Sombo as the ref scores by red and blue fighter.

We had a guy actually where one of these to one of my Ju-Jitsu sessions. He was a target for those who want to see what he could really do. Such a shame that he was a)crap and b)never came back :/

I should hopefully be there, really is a case of money thought. Want an excuse to wear the blue side of the Gi though :P I'll try and beg borrow and steal to get the £8 together. Not sure about Rob, I'll speak to him at TSD tonight.

BTW my friend from Sleeping storm is not a blue belt.. he has a blue gi.!!. I was not listening... only found this out on Sat when we got together and I clocked his white belt...
