There is never a good way to use steroids for recreational purposes, anyone thinking that is just blowing sunshine up their own ass.

I read this story in Maxim about this bodybuilder who juiced like crazy. He ended up dislocating his hamstring from his leg after doing some squats! He also ended up getting Necrosis on that leg where his skin was alive but rotting. Complete with maggots and all!!

He was hospitalized and given all sorts of cleasing drugs because his toxicity levels in his body was so high he almost died. He ended up recovering and took up Tai chi and is now a instructor.

That's pretty damn disturbing. What caused the necrosis? Was his body so toxic that it was killing itself, or what? Was it just the surface skin, or would it have affected the deeper tissues, ligaments, and muscles?

Im fuzzy with the details, but I know this guy was doing it for like 15 years. It was something like the toxin levels were higher than his body could get rid of them and since he injured his leg that was the "weak link" and got affected first. There was some deep tissue damage and he almost lost that leg, but they were able to save it. He said that his body stunk due to the **** seeping out of his pores and he would puke all the time. All in all it sounds shitty!

Well I respect the guy for making the mistakes so that we don't have to. He's a good guy for doing a speech on f'ing up with steroids.

Uh...yeah...I'd say you are taking a bigger risk using steroids than driving down the highway at 65. Injecting yourself with hormones is asking to have a "crash" at a later date. It's like basically, defering your "accident". It isn't a question of IF you are going to suffer some serious consequences, the real question is WHEN. One of the points in his lecture I agree with is that steroids are a shortcut. If you take the longer road, not only are you going to eliminate a time bomb of body chemistry, you are going to be healthier the whole way along.

For fucks sake... In the UK, the speed limit is 70 and the average driving speed on motorways is 85.

Germany doesn't have a speed limit on the Autobahns and I believe they are no more dangerous than British roads.
Maybe Asia or MrMcFu (or even Smeagol) can shed more light on it.

While I would not recommend steroids to anyone, (possible scams, people cutting it wrong, adding whatever)
it has been used, in a controlled environment to assist those deeply affected by AIDS.
