No padding under the shirts... just the gloves, knee pads, elbow pads and fencing masks. They pull off the gloves and masks when it hits the ground though as you can see in some pics. There were some good hits both with sticks and with barenuckle fists to be sure! Good subs too.

Anyone here at Bullshido giving any serious thought to participating in a Gathering? I'll be fighting at this summer's Gathering and it would be nice to have some fights lined up before the actual day of the Gathering.

I wish there was a Dog Brothers school in my area. *sigh*

im only training thai boxing under him, i should change that, which isnt too bad as a matter of fact. the costs are very decent, around 200 per month, 4 days a week, there is sayoc kali, inosanto kali among other arts.

well, its 200 for single class, and if you were to take an additional class, it's plus 15 dollars per month, which i thought was incredible
and yes, i forgot to mention that, flame me for my sins master!

So let me get this straight:

$200 a month for one class
$15 for every subsequent class.
4 classes a week for 4 weeks - 16 classes (-1 for the initial $200 class) * 15 = $225

Therefore, $425 a month?

No, I think he (I hope he) means different classes offered. $200/mo for MT, then another $15/mo for Kali, and whatever.
