since Suncoast is nice enought so sell pride DVDs for $10 a pop, i have started collecting them and watching them. right now i have watched most of them from #1-#15. question: which are your favorite fights?

some of mine:

Sakuraba vs Quinton Jackson - Pride 15: exciting to watch, especially Jackson's defense against arm and key locks (LOFL)
Sakuraba vs Silva - Pride 13: glad they put the knees back in the rules...


and more and more.

I liked Sakuraba vs Silva too. Even though I'm a grappler (now), I like it when a striker manages to dominate like that.

wanderlai vs. guy mezger... I didnt like that illegal headbut by wanderlei but an excellent fight overall

Nog vs Fedor, beacause of the drama of seeing the champ getting beat up like that. It felt like when I was a kid watching Rocky or something.

Ooh yeah pride 10 was awesome...

Sak vs. Renzo Gracie, ending in an ugly as hell arm-bending-the-wrong-way-at-the-elbow- dislocation for Renzo.

I liked that Japanese guy, I think he was Yokoi? vs. Nogeura in pride GP opening round... He did so well against Nog for 2 rounds... Then succumbed to the anaconda choke...

Yeah, basically anything with Nogueira is good.

i could have dusted my blinds or something more worthwhile then watch that fight.

Just watching W. Silva vs Kanehara now again, I don't care how the outcome is really, but it is good to see the no-fear come forward style of a fighter who knows he is outclassed.

I liked guy mzger vs. vanderlei silva in pride 10. Mezger totally surprised me by trading with vanderlei for most of the match, and coming off the better a couple of times in the clinch.
