Let me rephrase that, best first person shooter ever.

The game is so in-depth, with such detailed single player, and to top it off, it actually has an interesting story that leaves you thinking.

I only wish they had HL 2 deathmatch.

Well, arcade shooters are, but first person shooters aren't really, they're more PC than console or arcade. Actually to say shooters aren't games in not really correct. I vie them more as shooter simulators rather than shooters.

If X box is going to be at all successful, it has to sell millions and millions of units this christmas. I don't think it will. Mainly because it is still too expensive and microsoft already loses money on every system sold. Historically, the magic price number, is $99.

Microsoft is definately not losing money. Halo 2 sold 150 million copies PRE-ORDERED on release date! Do you have any idea how much money that is?

Oh, and Half-Life 2 is awesome. I played it for something like an hour, getting through the introduction, and even WITHOUT weapons or gratuitous violence, the first segments of the game are far and away better than anything I've ever played. It's not six years in the making and the most highly-anticipated game of the year for nothing.
