TBK is correct. Supplements really are only good to use in certain situations.
Get a good workout and diet going before even thinking about supplements. You probably won't need supplements anyway.
I've tried supplements like Whey and N-large 2, and they just taste too crappy to drink on a regular basis. They didn't really do anything either, so now I just eat protein bars once in a while.
man, i forgot the most effective way for a guy to gain weight: first, get your girlfriend pregnant. then eat your meals structured like you usually do, every couple of hours. in addition to this, everytime you girlfriend gets hungry and wants to eat, eat then too. works.
it took me about 5 years to go from 135 to 195. then i could never get above 195. now, after two months of this great new plan, i am up to 205. plus my strength has increased as well. its a win-win situation!
I've put on about 20 lbs since may, and I'm *slowly* approaching 140. I'm 5'10, and yes, I'm skinny.
But how old are you? If you're still growing then don't worry about it.
I'm 21, so I'm pretty much done growing. In anycase I've icked up.... ummmm..... two pounds. yay?
