Questions will only be about domestic issues this time.

Kerry should have an advantage in that respect.

So far polls have Kerry ahead 2-0 in these debates.

Will he sweep Bush? Tune in tonite!

Yes, the sport cars models--seconded.

Seriously this is going to be good. Going from the podium to the town hall format, and what's tonight's format? MMA no holds barred? I bet a box of protein bars on Kerry.

And again, a publicly funded state institution will not allow other legitimate presidential candidates from participating. Neither Kerry nor Bush would stand a chance in a debate against Bednarik. He's pwn them both and make them cry!

I actually lucked out with this debate. I was planning on skipping it so I could get directions to this one movie theatre (long, irrelevant story), but found out that they were playing it in the manager's office. So, once again, Boyd wins.

Or does he? The debate was 90 minutes of politics-as-usual, designed to compliment the past 6 months' politics-as-usual and as a primer for the next three weeks' Politicsasusualpalooza. The same tired points were reiterated time and time again; Bush talked at length about his faith in God, Kerry proclaimed "You do realize you've killed retarded people, don't you?". Bush espoused the No Child Left Behind act, Kerry stared ahead, drooled, and said "Hey everyone, guess who I am?", pantomiming slowly mopping a floor. Bush attacked Kerry's voting record, Kerry jammed a graham cracker in his eye. Then Ralph Nader smashed in through a skylight and rappelled down between the two candidates. Uneasy glances were exchanged between the rival politicalicians for eight minutes of awkward silence before Nader murmured "Sorry" and shuffled offstage, coming back on half an hour later citing he "forgot his car keys".

I missed it, but there's no way it could have topped the ownage of Debate #2. Town Hall format rocks.

It's too bad that laws of political science dictate he won't win and thus there's really no point in having him in the debate.

You never know what the outcome would have been had he been allowed at all 3 debates. Perot, initially be the "laws of political science" and would have won hands down had he not dropped out and came back.

Canada lets third and fourth-party candidates into the debates and all they do is succeed in being annoying as **** (Jack Layton). They won't win the election so they just try to scorch the earth while they have some TV time.

Yes you do. He would have lost.

Holy mother of budda, you're a dumbass. Win/lose isn't the issue. This is a publicly funded institution, hosting the debates, and the LP is a legit party. Votes for him in high numbers are also ways of telling the big 2 just what you think of them, and their corruption.

Why do you keep saying this? Arizona State had absolutely no control over the format of the debate, or its participants. This is entirely under the control of the CPD, which is private.

You said we wouldn't know what the outcome would be. Winning and losing presidency of the United States would be more an issue than a thousand people using their precious votes as a cute piece of anonymous irrelevant social protest.

You also said Badnarik would kill Bush/Kerry in a debate. This is the sort of statement that makes me question the wisdom of your calling me a dumbass. Kerry is, after all, a world-class debater with nearly unlimited resources with which to refine and hone his skills. Badnarik is the brutal space warlord of the far-off galaxy of Aseoulia 9 whose skills on the Astro Plane far surpass his rhetorical capabilities. At best his shoulder-mounted spikes and long black hair would dwarf Kerry and make him appear less imposing.
