So, am I the last person in the world to see this (http://www.kungfucinema.com/reviews/bruceleewarriorsjourney.htm)? I saw it on AMC last week. I'd heard the stories before but had never seen The Game of Death so the last 30 minutes or so was kinda neat.

Thoughts?

Yes, you are the last. Thank god Lee can now rest in peace!!! :D

It was cool though. Good stuff on his philosophy. And his version would have made a better movie.

Here's (http://www.amctv.com/show/detail/0,,50039-1-EST,00.html) the AMC link... I enjoyed his footage but I didn't think much of Kareem as the final "invincible" warrior. I don't know if it is the freakishly long legs but I thought most of his kicks sucked.

Bruce lee + yellow jumpsuit + nunchaku= 1337

sound is dodgy as hell though.

I saw that a couple years ago. I agree Kareem's technique sucked ass, but I think the reason he was billed as the invincible fighter was his size. I mean ****, his footprint was as big as Bruce's torso!

Uh, what does 1337 mean?

Kareem was supposed to represent the final "style of no style" so it really didn't matter if his technique sucked as long as he hit.

Return of the dragon, still the best one.

I saw it again yesterday and the one of the only things the Hapkido guy did that looked like it would actually work was the drop he did when the guy in the plain clothes threw a high kick.

Thoughts? Have you seen the Hong Kong Legends 'Game of Death' DVD? The 40 minute edit of original footage in the extras makes it all worthwhile, though the dialogue is rather corny.
