Yunno, I hate that. Short guys like me are stuck between a rock and a hard place. If we go about our lives not training/working out/whatever we just end up as short, out-of-shape nerds who can't fight.

Everytime I've tried something tough, whether it's martial arts, becoming a Marine, becoming a cop, people think it's because I've got "short man syndrome," not because I honestly want to.

So either I'm reenforcing the stereotype that short people are weaker, or that all short guys have a Napoleon complex.

Same as in a fight with a bigger guy, if you lose (even if the opponent is the best fighter on the planet) your a puss, if you win (you just beat up another little guy). Sucks, but it's the truth.

According to my calculations, you're 5 ft. 9 in.

176cm * 1 in/2.54cm = 69.2 inches

When you're as short as me (66 inches), every inch counts. By the way, the reason you're 5'7" according to that site is because of how that website rounds. I tried it with my calculator and got 5 feet 7.7 inches. Try it yourself.

Oh, well, I´m 177 cm, so I´m not 5' 8'' after all, but 5' 9''? Well, it doesn´´t make a big difference.
I wish I was at least 180 cm (5'9'' again???)

I should mention here that they breed em big in Whangarei. this is where all the farmers and Sefo look alikes reside- I think apart from myself and my coach, there is one other guy who is below 6 foot. I am sure if I went to japan I would not be so outsized :D
