I've got a pair... I don't have space for a home gym and I don't have time to add a gym workout to my life. Anything useful I can do with a pair of 25 lb dumb bells?
thats like 12kg right? well you can always lift them, but it wont take long before they become little more than paperweights.

You could club people with them and think of the japanese equivalent for 'dumbell' that will have people 'ooing' and 'ahhing'.

No they are useless; throw them away.
Wait... they are good for strict lateral raises.
That's about it.

take one in each hand whilst you walk on the bottom of the local pool. 50 ms should be the minimum - or so they say in the SAS
apparently using them as door stops was just the right move... go me!
Do those shoulder exercises where you lift the dumbell straight up (arm locked), and the one with your arms by your sides and then out in a snow angel motion. I read an article about how it's really important to do these, or else you'll just have really big arms and skinny ass shoulders.
...but then again, 25 lbs is a bit too much for these exercises, unless you're a gorilla.
....dude, maybe for you. I can do those exercises with 25 pound weights and i am far from a gorilla.

This type of strength comes mostly with experience. Maybe I should rephrase it to "when doing it for the first time, you may need to use lighter weights".
