He seems to have studied under Greg Alland and Nene Tortal. Greg studied some Pekiti-Tirsia, but then broke off and started his own thing. Nene Tortal is the current grandmaster of Dekiti Tirsia Siradas....which was another offshoot of Pekiti-Tirsia. His site is hokey and lame, but he could be O.K.

He studied with Greg Alland for many years. He is the “President” of Greg Alland’s World Kali Silat Society. He did not study much with Grand Master Jerson Tortal. For some reason Grand Master did not take to him….I wonder if it was his training monkeys to kick and punch?

I didn't know Tortal didn't accept him as a student. There have been sketchy musings on Greg Alland as well.

See Tortal knew the monkeys are really a secret army. This guy is wandering, checking out defenses, recruiting officers for his gorrila army. Those damn dirty apes!

I have met the Wandering Guru and all I can say is he is as interesting in person as he is on his website. As for training in Dekiti Tirsia Siradas, I highly recommend GM Tortal.

The Wandering Guru is almost as cool as The Warlock. I hate gurus ever since the 'Guru Meditation' error messages I used to get on my Amiga.

There are all kinds of things I would like say, but I don’t like digging into that negativity to much. Everything on Grand Masters tour here came to boil over here in our little town. I and a student of mine stood up against what he and Greg have done. The wandering dude threatened to kill me; they called me a coward, blah, blah, blah. All those fun things people say when they are fighting off Telepathic probes.

A lot of good came out of it though. Grand Master is setting up shop on his own here in the US, and hopefully we can have him back more often for training.
