first off, no it's not a choke using your SCHLONG.

i get the jist of how he did it. but can someone explain and run through this better? with pics would be nice. it was like an upside down side choke. good move coming off of a sprawl.

*edit...crap...i just realize i shoulda posted in the 'techniques' section.

Noodle...I'll try and get some pics for you although I am sure there are many people much more eminently qualified then myself to explain this. Basically what takes place is:

1) You are in the sprawl
2) You are basically slapping an arm triangle on the guy from above him
3) You roll to the side you have the triangle on and finish (sorry...I obviously suck at describing these moves).

Something I discovered quite by accident while this was being practiced on me the other day. If the person applying the choke keeps the hand on their ear (the hand belonging to the arm that you are holding your bicep on). The person in the choke can make a fist and push against it creating enough space to escape the choke or at least no go out (I'll have to take some pictures). However if you grab the lat or upper back of the person you are applying the choke to...we couldnt' make enough room or space to avoid being choked out.

Like I said...I will try and get some pictures tomorrow or Thursday and try and explain what I'm talking about.

Whew, I'm glad that's how I was taught to do that. (Putting your hand on their lat, I mean.)

I don't know if it's still up but subfighter.com used to have a video of this move in the technique section.

its pretty easy, its almost like a olympic roll....

You do the turn over but instead you grab like you would a RNC and put your hand on the back and roll them over, then pull your elbows in as you walk in towards them....

You really don;t need to roll.Instead you can stand up and arch.On a really guy when I can't reach I go palm to palm, and as I stand I can get my hip outside of his tricep/shouylder and get the lock right there.Or failing that, pull guard, his arm is across my belly so when I lock my feet and arch it cranks the hell out of his spine.

so was this like a never before seen choke until Nog pulled it off in the last Pride on the japanese dude? is there another name for this choke?

I was personally amazed he got that on hearring with such ease.

They started teaching us that choke in judo 3 weeks ago, with reference to Nog. Pretty cool move, makes you think twice about doubling.
