We have a ring and mats.

Anyone interested????

Mapquest says it's about 8 hours, which means it's about 6. Still a bit of a jog for me in KC. I think we've got a few people in that area though.

I'm actually in Rosemont (sp?) that weekend for a tradeshow (yes, working over the weekend...AUGH!)

Anything closer in the city that might be a suggestion?

If you're open to BJJ, why yes...there is. PM me if you want details.

Am I reading correctly that this is the weekend before the "Chi-town" throwdown?

Lemme go check the other thread....

CT how can you say you live in Canada when you spend much more time in the US than you do Canada?

*edit* and yes I am just whining because you don't spend nearly enough of it in Minnesota ;)

I ddin't read the whole Chicago throwdown thread.

I will have another one in August and let you know.

Sorry to schedule so close to the other.

Thanks,

Shar,

I completely agree...I think the entire U.S. should be condensed into MN. *GRIN*

Well some of the best parts of it are here... isn't that enough?

#1plumber: hey, no sweat! I have a Judo tournament (I'm not competing, just helping out) on the 6th, and with the Chitown McThrowdown on the 19th I think I'm going to take the weekend between off martial arts.

Still, if you can come to our Throwdown that would be T3H C00L.

Yeah I think the idea is just to not have them competing, if people can't afford to travel every weekend. The more spaces there are to do this kind of thing the better, so it's great there's this much interest in doing it in this area, right?

Looking forward to seeing some people at one of these! Once the torrential rain stops I can go back to getting some vague semblance of physical fitness happening in preparation...
