Hi guys, have lurked here on and off for some time.

I stumbled across this guy 'the Alpha Wolf' recently on Youtube and at first thought it was an attempt at comedy, but after a bit of digging it became apparent that this guy seems quite serious. I couldn't find a thread on this guy on Bullshido so here we are.

Basically he calls himself a 'Martial Arts Expert', claims to have done 'every' Martial Art, and seems to heavily sensor the comment section of his Youtube channel and also his Facebook page if anyone questions him or what he's doing / saying, even if done politely.

He also claims to be a Ninja.

I myself asked him some simple genuine questions and he would reply with 'your mom' jokes, Bruce Lee quotes, and with things like he is 'greater than you mere mortals'. . .

I could go on, but it seems this self styled Bruce Lee of Youtube is slowly gaining followers so thought it warranted some attention. He has been asked repeatedly by many people to show any proof of his 'ring fights', training or experience etc but he ignores or just deletes the comments, even the ones he posts on other Youtubers channels when he calls THEM out..

It's guys like this that give Martial Artists a douchebag image and he supposedly sells training packages online or something. Calls his 'business / style' "Flawless Victory"

Anyway, here is his Youtube channel and social media. Take the time to look at some of his videos, they would be comedy gold if it weren't for the fact hat he takes himself seriously and expects others to . . .
Thoughts / opinions please.

Anyone playing the Alpha/Beta nonsense has no idea how the world actually works.

Just wanna toss that out there first.

I came across this guy back when I was into bodybuilding - he doesn't seem to have a clue about that either.

I seem to remember when he was asked "which martial arts are you a specialist in?" he replied "all of them".

The channel above has all sorts of tutorials but never involves an opponent to demonstrate on. He makes a lot of threats in his comments section to anyone who challenges him..

All a bit fishy if you ask me!

Just to build on this a bit, for the folks that may not have a clue about all this.

Back many years ago there was a self-defense instructor name Marc Macyoung, who has a great deal of experience with actual violence in verified settings and different settings. Part of his experience is also in collegiate studies of cultural anthropology. He introduced the Alpha/Beta model to the self defense world as a simplified model for understanding the differences between certain peoples ability to react to potentially violent situations and as a way of explaining the need to remove personal ego from the equation when deciding what you should do. He gave a number of very good examples of how this works, and why certain behaviors will and won't lead to violence with certain types of people. It's all very good stuff.

Then, a bunch of other idiots read and then chose to misinterpret what he was saying and use it, combined with their misinterpretations of Col. Dave Grossman's work, to market themselves as these harcore, badass streetfighters/operators that can teach you all sorts of tacticool stuff.
Marc has regretted ever bringing up the concept ever since, but I can tell you that unless they are associated with these guys: http://www.nononsenseselfdefense.com/

Anyone using the Alpha/Beta modeling for marketing is likely trying to mislead you about their abilities for money.

Interesting.

Dameon has been called out for being a quack multiple times, then responds super aggressively.. I think the info you provided combined with massive insecurity has produced the result we see on YouTube.

Either way it annoys me as this guy is offering online coaching amongst other things while clearly having no respect for, or knowledge of, any martial arts.

I have surmised he learnt most of his moves etc. from books and videos. I will share some of his tutorials later on if anyone is interested..

That is awesomely sad.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYTJikF5Gs0&

I love how his base wobbles each and every time he over rotates.
His knees are going hate him in a very short time... not to mention his terrible guard.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CfRSUtWiPo&
bending at the waist (check)
over extending arms (check)
...
I actually don't have time to do this... just about everything he does is wrong and shows a clear lack of real training.

Great find Retribution.

Someone needs to politely invite him to this conversation.

He's a dumb **** too. All his "experience" is hearsay and he has no demonstratable martial skills.

You can tell the knees are good because he keeps his hips back. No sense in putting those forward for power.

Maybe. I won't argue with the martial skills part as I have never crossed hands with him, BUT several people whose opinions I trust, including Rory Miller and Kris Wilder definitely would vouch for him. Now as for his experience, well here is a link to his CV. Verify any of it you wish to.
