Review intermediate technique and add this in there. This takes some serious timing but with the right practice can be devestating.

I was refering to counter the leg kick, or any round kick, by smashing you fist into the face of the kicker...

What system is this low kick counter from?

So after you offbalance him with your low left leg kick to the inside of his thigh, you punch him in the face with your left hand (taking his balance backwards) and go for the tackle/takedown with your head on the right side?

Nah, punch him in the face by stepping in and punching while he tries to kick you.
you see more knock downs from this counter to a kick, than any other.
He kicks, you move in and put your fist though his face.
Simple.
