Oi, do you think we could all get some of those Throwdown flyers? Someone designed them for Bunyip but I think we could use the same design. There are a lot of MA schools in my area where they could be posted, perhaps you guys know where to put them as well.
I won't be able to go (working at a summer camp in WI, and I leave on the 18th), but I would like to direct some people I know from TKD as well as some people at the BJJ place your way.
Thoughts? Comments?

Any chance of your coming to plumberfest II '04 this Saturday?????
Sadly, I do have definite obligations.
And have you ever considered moving into our urban sprawl? There's so many more pipes and stuff.

Okay, so it's the home stretch before our Chicago Throwdown, the calm before the storm, if you will(typed as black clouds lay ominously over my work). I've gone ahead and made all the accomadations, and everythings set. Goytias, 63rd and central, this saturday, 1pm. probably lasting about four hours. Can we get a roll call of everyone who plans to come, just post maybe saying you'll be there(I'm just wondering how many people actually plan on showing up).
Couple of things; first, Joes does not sell any water/gatorade type stuff. There is a little store across the street, though I don't know how well they're stocked(so if you're a big gatorade drinkier, you may wanna bring a couple of bottles). There is extra gear there, bags, head gear, gloves, for anyone who doesn't have there own.
And lastly, most likely, we'll all have to sign liability waivers. I know it should be a problem, but I'd jsut mention it in case anyone takes issue with it. That's about it, any questions you can post here or feel free to PM me, and I look forward to seeing all of you there.

I must regretfully bow out (not too regretfully though as I was asked to do a seminar this weekend and I'm getting paid to boot....) I apologize and look forward to the next one.
I must regretfully bow out as well.
My wife lost her father early this year and, given the coming Father's Day, I will be taking her and my two rascals camping. I'd like to keep her focused on stopping the kids from eating bugs rather than thinking about her dad.
I am sorely disappointed in missing this. I hope to meet you all at a future event.
Have fun and hit each other hard.
I plan on being there between 2 and 3.
C'mon people. Keinhaar taking pictures of OWA does not a Throwdown make.

Don't worry, I'm gonna drum up as many people from schools in the surronding area as possible, as well as bring a few friends. It won't be completely empty.
It is sad that some people can't make it, but that's to be expected. I just hope we can get a few bullshido members there(Xango, jubei33, I'm looking in your direction).
Still planning to be there. I don't have a car, but can either get a ride or take the Orange line out and get picked up from there...

Just PM if you need a ride, I'm all about limited charity(you help pay for gas).
I need a ride from the Orange Line to Goytia's.
If anyone can do that...let me know.
Thanks.
