Well, I'm a month into SL5x5, and their nice little cult community being closed, I figured I'd get some motivation by asking...

HOW MUCH DO YOU SQUAT?

Let's see how some Bullshidoka do on the squat, dead, and bench.

Messing around, I've managed to pull a couple reps at 145 on all three of these (the bench being on the smith, my *real bench* is closer to 120), and that's all I've got. If I move more weight than you, you suck.

So let's see it.

Show us that all your PT ain't in vain, how much can you move on the big three?

And for all ye powerlifters out there: Vid or it didn't happen.

I'm a shrimp who makes no claims to lifting any "heavy" weights.

And to add: 6'5'', 180lbs

I'm 5'7.5" 240lbs, 43 years old
Squat 385lbs for 10 reps
Bench 315lbs for 5 reps ( have done more in the past... glory days )
DL 225lbsx15 ( haven't done real deads in over a year )

These are recent, I've had to cut down on my deads and squats because of herniated disks in my lower back. I'm fat, and I've recently been diagnosed with low testosterone.... Maybe after I get on some treatment, I'll be back to my best lifts.

Best ever lifts
Squat 405x8
Bench 365x2
DL 420x5

Some exceptionally strong people sitting behind the keyboards of bullshido.

I'm 6ft and 95kg/210lb and I squat 130kg/286lb for 5 reps.

I don't see an awful lot of people in the gym who are my size or smaller squating more than that.

Usually twice a day, more if I have All-Bran for breakfast.

I don't lift any more but my PR's when I did were:
Squat:505
Bench:285
Dead Lift: 585
Clean: 200

I was about 175 at the time.

Max benching permanently jacked my biceps tendon. If you stick to push ups you'll never overload your shoulder.

Trust me if you do enough you'll mess your shoulder up just as bad.

I'm still surprised at the high numbers put up by people who are 3/4 quarters my weight. When I'm in the gym only a handful of absolute beasts and gym monkeys are squating more than me. That's not a brag, I don't think my squats are that impressive, just that the average of others sqautters is vastly out of proportion compared to the claims on bullshido.

Exclude Omega from that, because as a pro fighter I expect his numbers to be exceptional.

I'm 200lbs, 6'4.

These are 6rm's (I don't use a spotter).
Bench 175 (currently off with a buggered shoulder)
Deadlifts and Squats are both 175 as of today, but I'll be upping that next session.

I only started heavy lifting again in January and I'm happy with my progress thus far, but its still a far cry from when i was 20 and could bench more than 200.

I think you're thinking sets of squats and lot of people here are listing single max squat.

I haven't worked with a weight machine in probably 15 years.

But back in the day, I would squat reps using 360. But my legs were ungodly...back when I was in the navy (20 yrs ago), I had a 26" waist, 3% body fat, but weighed 195. Most of it was legs. heh.
