I believe he is in Holland earlier. Or according to the video he is now in Amsterdam? Amsterdam on 4/20? lol strange. Anyways! It seems he is training Muay Thai. I don't know if that is Jiu Jitsu he is working on later in the vid, looks like Fedor is training more serious now? :)

If anyone can embed the actual vid it would be great!

Seriously dipshits. It's not like he's all of a sudden learning things he's never known before. He is just stepping up his training partners. He needs the best in the world because nobody else can match up to him. I think you're all being dipshits by talking as if he's a footnote now.

Yeah, he is not learning new stuff!! He is doing exactly what he should be doing. He should be training with high level competitors that are heavyweights. I'm sure he has got complacent to a degree where he was. It is normal for high level MMA guys to very their training partners.

What, you mean you guys didn't know Fedor won his first 40 fights without having learned the roundhouse kick?

I'm always in Fedor's corner, and I would love to see him fight more. I especially hope the rumored fight with Henderson happens. Great vid here, but it looks like little more than a promo. I don't think it really reveals anything about Fedor's real training.

'Cause, you know...SAMBO and BJJ have NOTHING in common.

Nothing.

What. So. Ever.

No you guys, he's taking his training seriously now. Don't you get it? For the last 15 years he's just be dicking off.

Agreed,
taking training serious now makes him sound like he is nothing anymore.

the man is a will stay a true legend.
he just lost it happens get over it

i'd say its a good thing to see him training with my countrymen in kickboxing and MT
with good heavyweights and i hope it helps him in any way
and if not well he moves on finding something else

an fighter is always looking for new ways
there is no ones way training like he trained with the dutch so now he is a top class kickboxer too!

lets just wait and see what happens this video doesn't really show anything.

I'm almost positive Fedor has trained kickboxing in Holland before. I'll look for the article, one of the coaches at the old Brazilian Top Team was talking about it, something like:

"What people don't realize is that Fedor goes to Holland to train Thai boxing the same way Rogdrigo goes to Cuba to train his boxing."

Looking at the kick instructionals in his Victory Belt book, this is truer than you realize.

I'd read he was training leg kicks w/ Ernesto Hoost before one fight, and there's a vid of him training w/ Tyrone Sprong for another.

The man is a training machine, and didn't get where he is fucking about. Getting more and better sparring partners is what he perhaps has done....but he's not now choosing to be serious. He isn't a near Deity in Japan and Korea because they like him pale.

He's Andy Hug without the mustache, Bruce Lee with fights, he's Ali without as many losses.

I don't hear people **** on Mohammed Ali, even though he lost some. He's the greatest right? well, get over it, Fedor was/is the greatest in mma so far.

Fedor is a sportsman, a spokesman, and a fuckin dangerous fighter, who will probably become the world's top mma seminar draw, upon his retirement.

Until he retires, I'll be rooting him on, and firmly in his camp (and on his nuts, I have a timeshare). No HW is likely to ever match his unbeaten streak, against heavy-duty-characters. More than that, his grace under pressure, and demeanor in/out of the ring,
makes the sport look good. Let's remember that.

This is Bobby B reporting from atop Fedor's nuts, back to you.

I was firmly ensconced on the slopes of Big Nogueira before Fedor came along, so I am contractually obligated to hate him for what he did to my hero.

Nothing personal, bro.

youre only as good as youre last fight. fedor needs all the publicity he can get right now, whether he is training hard or not.

he actually looked pretty slim in that vid... gossip!?!?!

This is huge. Now that Fedor is finally practicing takedowns, transitions, and striking, he may become a legit fighter. I hope he adds in some submissions to really round out his game.
