i'm pissed off, no lines are up yet for the undercards.
anyways i think kampmann totally smashes diego
i'm hoping branch is a big underdog against palhares because branch is a horrible stylistic matchup for him.

Diego Sanchez vs. Martin Kampmann - Cointoss.
Mark Munoz vs. C.B. Dollaway - I hate CB's face.
Alessio Sakara vs. Chris Weidman
Brian Bowles vs. Damacio Page - I've met Damacio and he's just cool.
Joe Stevenson vs. Danny Castillo - because his nickname is Daddy
Steve Cantwell vs. Cyrille Diabate
Thiago Tavares vs. Shane Roller
Takeya Mizugaki vs. Reuben Duran
Rob Kimmons vs. Dongi Yang
Rousimar Palhares vs. Dave Branch - Poor Branch.
Igor Pokrajac vs. Todd Brown
None of my picks are based on technical merit. But I'd put $ on Palhares. Especially looking forward to Mizugaki, Palhares (sub of the night) and Sakara fights.

Diego sanchez
I pick Sanchez, Munoz, Sakara and Bowles. I'm hoping for quick finishes that will allow UFC to broadcast the Palhares vs. Branch fight. Everybody made weight for this event (although two of them did it in the raw behind a towel). Anyone else watching this tonight? There are some interesting match-ups and it's free - Rogers Sportsnet is carrying it in Ontario.

I think Kampmann totally won that fight. He was able to counter every strike and stop every take down attempt in the first and second round. While Diago did become more aggressive with his strikes in the middle of the second and third round, I don't think it was enough to earn him a win. I would've liked to see a fourth round, but Kampmann should have won the decision. Otherwise, great fight.
I was surprised at the main event decision too.

So Kampmann has been robbed twice in a row now? Ouch

Why do the judges hate Kampmann so much?

Maybe they're homophobic?
I wonder if something needs to be done to explain scoring criteria more clearly. It would be helpful to me, as a fan; and judging seems to be called into question regularily.
Maybe I should spoiler-tag this, but this thread isn't getting much traffic and the results are out.... so
Sanchez attempted many takedowns and all but one stuffed. There was not much action on the ground. Effective striking by both fighters (a bloody slugfest) but the loser outstruck the winner and left the winners' face an unsightly mess (worse than the BJ Penn fight). I think Kampmann took two of the rounds for footwork, counterstriking and spending most of the the fight picking Sanchez apart for striking and octagon control. Diego characteristically picks up points for aggression and landed some very heavy combinations himself, but it seems that 29-28 should have gone the other way.

Kampmann literally tore up Sanchez. I don't see how this worked the way it did.
