Modified FILA Rules Double Elimination Tournament
All Ages Groups – Kids, Teens & Adults

This event is designed for:
Intermediate to Advanced Level Youth Grapplers
Beginner to Intermediate Adult Grapplers
Weight Classes will be pooled and determined after weigh in (No weight cutting)
Plus
*Fixed Weight Adult Men's Advanced Cage Grappling Division*
Under 150lbs ; Under 170lbs & Under 185lbs
Each advanced mens champion will receive $10 X participants competing in his
bracket

Competitor entry fee: $25 (Register at weigh in/ Cash only/ No pre
registrations)
Spectators: $5

7 & 8 yrs / 11 AM
9 & 10 yrs / 12 AM
11 & 12 yrs / 1 PM
13 & 14 yrs (Boys) / 3 PM
13 & 14 yrs (Girls) / 3 PM
Advanced Men (18 & up) / 4 PM
15 to 17 yrs (Boys) / 4:30 PM
Adult Women (15 & up) / 6 PM
Adult Men (18 & up) / 6 PM

* Mens advanced prize money division will be held at 4 PM inside Cage *
*Mens advanced prize money division will weigh in at 2 PM*

Scoring:
Takedown 1 pt
Elevated Takedown 2 pts
Reversal (bottom position to top) 1 pt
Side Control 2 pts
Mount Control 3 pts
Back Control 4 pts
Re-establish Neutral Position (Standing & Guard) 1 pt
Attempted Submission 1 pt
Push out 1 pt

Time Limits:
5 minutes - Adults (18 & up)
4 minutes - Juniors (15 - 17 yrs)
4 minutes - Cadets (13 & 14 yrs)
3 minutes - Rookie, Novice & Schoolboy (12 & under)

I'll try to get some of my old kung fu/grappling associates to check it out. It's nice to see a low cost tournament and times for different divisions so people don't have to wait around all day.

I know some good moving step push hands players that specialize in pushing people out of the ring. Let's see if they're busy that day. The problem is that you can't hook the back in moving step so they'd likely get dragged out too.
